Charmonium triangular flow in high energy nuclear collisions

چکیده
We calculate $J/\ensuremath{\psi}$ triangular flow in high energy nuclear collisions. The charmonium motion medium is controlled by a transport equation with loss and gain terms, the evolution of hot governed single-shot hydrodynamic triangularly deformed initial condition. In comparison elliptic ${v}_{2}$, ${v}_{3}$ comes almost completely from regeneration quark gluon plasma therefore more sensitive to properties.

Charmonium production in polarized high-energy collisions
We investigate the inclusive production of prompt J/ψ mesons in polarized hadron-hadron, photon-hadron, and photon-photon collisions in the factorization formalism of nonrelativistic quantum chromodynamics (NRQCD) providing all contributing partonic cross sections in analytic form. In the case of photoproduction, we also include the resolved-photon contributions. We present numerical results ap...

We consider charmonium polarization at high-energy hadron collider Tevatron in the framework of the nonrelativistic QCD (NRQCD) and the kT -factorization approach. The polarization effects are studied for the direct and the prompt production channels. The obtained predictions can be used for test of the Regge limit of QCD and for test of the NRQCD formalism. High-energy factorization In the phe...
متن کاملCharmonium Production in High Energy Collisions
One motivation for studying the production of charmonium in high energy collisions is that these particles are among the simplest probes for heavy-ion collisions. In recent years, there have been significant developments in heavy quarkonium production, both in theory and in experiment. These developments may have important implications for the use of charmonium as a probe in heavy-ion collision...
متن کاملCharmonium Suppression in Nuclear Collisions
Has the quark gluon plasma been discovered at the CERN SPS? Experiment NA50 has reported an abrupt decrease in ψ production in Pb+Pb collisions at 158 GeV per nucleon [1]. Specifically, the collaboration presented a striking ‘threshold effect’ in the ψ–to–continuum ratio by plotting it as a function of a calculated quantity, the mean path length of the ψ through the nuclear medium, L, as shown ...

Highlights of the results from ultrarelativistic heavy ion collisions at CERN-SPS are reviewed. In particular, I discuss how the experimental results indicate that a collective strongly interacting system has been produced, and what are the implications towards the Quark Gluon Plasma. The physical ideas behind measuring certain observables are introduced. The future program of high energy nucle...
